Class 37s No. 37269 and 37289 are seen with Class 50 No. 50015 at Bristol Temple Meads on 19th August 1983. 50015 had failed with the 09.20 Liverpool- Penzance between Gloucester and Bristol and been rescued by the Class 37s who are in the process of removing the Class 50 to Bath Road depot. Both these Class 37s were subsequently converted to Class 37/4s. No. 37269 became 37417 and 37289 became 37408. Both are now withdrawn but 50015 lives on in preservation.
