LBSCR A1X Class "Terrier" 0-6-0T No. W8 Freshwater at Horsted Keynes in March 2001. This locomotive was built in at Brighton Works in 1877, numbered 46, and named Newington. In 1913 it was purchased by the Freshwater Yarmouth and Newport Railway and renumbered W2 Freshwater. 1932 saw another change of number to W8. It is now preserved at the Isle of WightRailway.
