On the 27th August 2016, a DRS Class 68 No. 68005 "Defiant", is seen heading south from Darlington in pouring rain hauling; the returning Northumbrian Explorer, Pathfinder rail charter, from Alnmouth to Worcester Shrub Hill. DRS classmate No. 68022 "Resolution", was at the rear of this train.
