On the 26th February 2016, a pair of Transnet Class 18E's, with No. 18.685 leading classmate No. 18.316 still in the old Spoornet blue livery, are seen at the head of Rovos Rail's "Pride of Africa" tourist train as it passes Klapmuts in the Western Cape during its journey from Pretoria to Cape Town.
