Ex-LMS 8F 48282 is seen at Patricroft MPD (9H) on 4th May 1968 during the depot's last weekend of steam. The loco was built by North British in August 1942 and spent its entire working life in the North West of England. The loco was withdrawn in June 1968 and cut up at Cohens of Kettering in January 1969. English Electric Type 4 (Class 40) D396 of Healey Mills Depot (56B) can be seen to the right of the picture.
