Class 119 DMU No. L589 forms the 13:09 Reading - Gatwick service at Earlswood on 1th May 1984. Weekend engineering in the Guildford area led to services on the route being diverted via the West London Line, something that would nowadays be thought impossible; such is the progress of our railway network.
