On 12th January 2016 at Ipswich station Class 90 No. 90013 on the delayed (-27mins) 13:00 Norwich - Liverpool Street which hit an obstruction on the line and damaged a hose on the front of the Class 90. The train was terminated at Colchester and ran as 14:57 ECS to Norwich with DVT No. 82118 leading.
