Built by the North Staffordshire Railway in Tudor Style in 1848 to the designs of H N Hunt and after being closed for 5 years Stone Station building has been restored to its former glory and now sees an hourly service of London Midland Trains on the Euston-Crewe via Stoke service and has a healthy patronage. It is Grade II listed. Viewed on 21st August 2015
