Class 47/7 No. 47775 Respite in Ipswich Yard on 9th November 2000 with a SERCO Structure Guaging train. New as No. D1584 to 87E on 16th May 1964 it became No. 47531 under TOPS on 21st May 1974, having been allocated No. 47021 but moved into the ETH Class 47/4 fleet instead. It was renumbered to No. 47974 from 1st June 1990 until 24th June 1992 when it reverted back to 47531, finally being converted to Class 47/7 No. 47775 on 1st December 1993. Stored at Crewe from 3rd July 2001 until sold to Harry Needle in June 2004 who cut it up on site at Crewe Diesel Depot by 21st April 2006.
