Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66551 is seen sandwiched between its own train of 21 empty coal hoppers bound for Hunterston and 12 Mk1 coaches, after it was called upon to push the 'Great Britain VIII' tour into Grayrigg loop as a result of DBS Class 67 No. 67018 'Keith Heller' being declared a failure shortly after departure from Oxenholme on 1st May 2015. The unusual consist travelled at no more than 5mph for over two miles which is good going considering its own load, and while exciting for those on board it was not for those on service trains which at this point had stacked back up to Preston!
