Class 70 No. 70005, in Freightliner Powerhaul green and yellow livery, starts a heavy ballast train away from the southern end of Platform 12 at Crewe Station on Wednesday 19th March 2014. Sister Class 70 No. 70014 was at the rear of the consist. The Class 70's were built by General Electric at their Erie, Pennsylvania factory with No. 70005 being delivered to the UK in December 2009.
