In 1980, Peckett Type W6 0-4-0ST No. 1967 runs along the (then) newly re-opened one-mile of track, on the Gwilli Railway, between Bronwydd Arms and a small station, next to the old mill at Cwmdwyfran. At this time, the locomotive was named 'Merlin' on the side facing the camera and 'Myrddin' on the other side, although later photographs show that the nameplates have been swapped around.
