On a bright and sunny 8th October 2014, Ex BR class 108 consisting of cars M54490 and M51907 waits to depart Carrog Station heading for Llangollen while Ex BR Wickham consisting of cars Nos. E56171 and E50416 is just departing Carrog heading towards Colomendy which was the named location for the end of the extension of the railway from Carrog to Corwen at that time. Since this date, the extension to Corwen phase 1 has been completed and the first service trains have been running.
