Class 47/4 No. 47500 'Great Western', in special GWR green lined livery, heads north through Stenson Fields with a cross country service on 14th August 1991. No. 47500 had its nameplates removed just a few days after this photograph was taken on its transfer to Immingham. In 2014 just the cooling towers seen in the background survive after Willington Power Station closure, and No. 47500 is stored as No. 47770 in WCRC maroon livery at Crewe.
