First TransPennine Class 170 No. 170307 passes through Brocklesby Station and Signal Box, working the 1B79, 09:55 Cleethorpes to Manchester Airport Service, on a dull 16th June 2014. The 19th Century red-brick structured station is a Grade 2 Listed Building featuring ornate Dutch gables, stone finials, and tall stone mock-Tudor style chimneys. Now closed, it is a private residence. The Signal Box, located on the Up platform, is a Great Central Railway Type 5 design, opened in 1914 and became a Grade II listed building on 26th May 1995.
