West Coast Railways Class 37's Nos. 37516 & 37685 pass Copmanthorpe on 20th July 2014 heading 'The Waverley' charter from York to Carlisle. Due to the Network Rail ban, steam traction was not permitted out of York, a steam loco was due to take over the train at Hellifield.
