GWR King Class No. 6000 King George V worked from its then base at Bulmers Cider at Hereford to Shrewsbury to work a 'Jules Verne Land Cruise Special' back to Newport. Sadly a wheelset ran hot on the northbound trip so it was failed and had to return to Hereford at a very reduced speed here seen just north of Dorrington on 20th September 1984
