On 14th May 2014, an unidentified Cross-Country 'Voyager' Class 221 departs from Southampton Central with the 12:43 service to Bournemouth; this train wass from Manchester Piccadilly. Meanwhile, EWS-liveried Class 66/0 No. 66127, having just pulled-out of Southampton West Docks with a short train of containers, waits at the signal for the Voyager to pass so that it can pass through the station on this bi-directional line.
