Arriving at Portmadoc Harbour station on 20th June 2012, is class 0-4-4-0T Double Fairlie No. 11 'Earl of Merioneth' built 1979 at Boston Lodge, The first Double Fairlie built in the 20th century by Ffestiniog Railway, and the only one of its kind to deviate from the classic design with the cuboid side. Converted to coal firing in 2006.
