Class 47/7 No. 47747 Res Publica runs light engine towards Ipswich tunnel on the evening of 5th August 1997. The 47 was built at Brush Traction and entered service as D1929 to 82A Bristol Bath Road on 7th February 1966 and under TOPS became 47252 in March 1974 before converstion to 47615 on 18th June 1984. She was converted to Class 47/7 No. 47747 on 25th April 1994 and stored at Millerhill Yard in January 2004. Finished up with DRS and was withdrawn in April 2013 and cut up at C.F.Booth, Rotherham in June 2013.
