Sunday the 5th June 1988 finds from right to left Class 58s Nos. 58043, 58004, 58023 & 58015 grouped around the turntable inside the Barrow Hill roundhouse. Completed in November 1870 BR ceased using the facility in February 1991. Of note in this photo is the general cleanliness of the shed in comparison to the clutter and oil deposits found on most other BR depots at the time. Like Barrow Hill roundhouse all 4 Class 58 survive at the end of 2013 No. 58015 & 58043 in Spain No. 58004 in France and No. 58023 stored in the Toton TMD ctraining compound.
