Metrolink M5000 Series tram No. 3071 crosses King Street into Union Street, Oldham on Thursday 5th December 2013. This and sister unit No. 3070 were involved in daytime test running between Oldham Mumps and Westwood tram stops on the Metrolink Phase 3b extension through Oldham town centre which is now expected to open in Spring 2014.
