The low early morning sun illuminates Colas Rail Freight Class 56 No. 56105 just north of Stenson Junction, Derbyshire on Thursday 29th August 2013 while in-charge of 6M65, 19.10 (Wed) Grangemouth Ineos to Sinfin Sidings, comprising of eight loaded bogie tank wagons conveying aviation fuel for discharging at the Rolls Royce aero engine works in Derby. This was the first occasion that a Class 56 had been diagrammed for the working and since Colas Rail Freight took over the contract to operate this working in May 2012, the regular motive power has been a Colas Class 66/8 locomotive except on one previous occasion when Class 47/7 No. 47739 Robin of Templecombe replaced the diagrammed Class 66/8 locomotive en-route as the latter was required for another working.
