Diesel Hydraulic shunter No. 186v 'Mr.D' built in 1967 by Thomas Hill Vanguard is seen at Rocks by Rail, Cottesmore, Rutland on 6th August 2013. Donated by RMC after working the last load of material out of Barrington Quarry - the last standard gauge quarry working in Britain. The loco is named after John Drayton MBE, the railway and works manager at Barrington who championed the quarry railway system long after others had converted to road haulage. Of interest is the GER coach dating from 1899 awaiting restoration.
