The line-up of A4 Pacifics that was set up to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the successful speed record attained by 448 Mallard on 3rd July 1938 proved a great success. On 11th July 2013, an opportunity to capture the six locomotives was taken before the scene was obscured by the crowd of visitors awaiting the opening of the museum to the public.
