Preserved Class 47 No. 47401 "North Eastern", built in 1962 as D1500, stands at Swanwick Depot at the Midland Railway - Butterley on 2nd June 2013. Around No. 47401 are seen Class 31 No. 31271 "Stratford 1840 - 2001" and Class 40 No. D212 (40012) "Aureol".
