Diaobingshan Depot has a good collection of steam locomotives awaiting restoration to work tourist trains. Here Class KD6 2-8-0 No. KD487 and Class YJ 2-6-2 No. YJ269 are pictured on 2nd May 2013. The KD6 was built by Lima in America in 1943 and was taken out of service from Pinzhuang Depot in 1996. It was transferred to Diaobingshan for preservation in 2004. The YJ was built in China by Jinan in July 1960 and arrived at Diaobingsahn in April 2005.
