When compared against the attached Mountsorrel Granite mineral wagon, the low height capabilities of Bagnall 0-4-0ST No. 2572 'Judy' can be better understood. Built for use at the Par harbour in Cornwall, the locomotive was designed to cope with extremely tight curves, and more importantly perhaps, capable of passing beneath a very low bridge under the Cornish Main Line. First time visitor to the GCR, the locomotive is seen here on 28th April 2013, during the railway's 'Swithland Steam Gala'.
