Network Rail's two-car Class 950 Track Assessment and Recording Unit No. 950001 is pictured north of Clay Mills Junction, Burton-on-Trent on 18th January 2013 while returning to its base at Derby RTC. The unit had originally been diagrammed to be operating a special working from Hither Green covering routes in the London area on this day but for reasons unknown it returned to Derby instead.
