Removing the overhead wires from this shot gives it a 1960's feel. LNER Class A4 No. 60009 'Union of South Africa' appears out of the fog at Copmanthorpe on 24th November 2012, at the head of the Railway touring Company's 1Z50 'The Tynesider' from Newcastle to King's Cross. The Newcastle to York leg was diesel hauled due to the unavailability of sister loco No. 60007.
