Class A1 Pacific No. 60145 'St Mungo' is pictured at Burton-on-Trent on 4th September 1965 hauling the Warwickshire Railway Society's 'Pennine Tour' from Birmingham New Street to Carlisle. This locomotive worked the train between Duddeston, where it had replaced a diesel locomotive that had hauled the train for the short distance out of Birmingham New Street, and Leeds City where the preserved Class A3 Pacific No. 4472 'Flying Scotsman' took over for the final leg of the outward journey to Carlisle via Keighley, Low Gill and the west Coast Main Line.
