This picture is of the goods yard at Strood in Kent, taken in the early 1970's, of note is the old Southern Railway Signal Box and semaphore signals, the old Canal Basin that was originally the Thames and Medway Canal that ran through what is now the railway tunnel to the River Thames at Gravesend, in the yard are two Class 73's shunting, and an 0-6-0 diesel shunter in the coal concentration depot. Taken circa 1970s.
