In the very early days of EWS and before a new livery had been decided on a few locos were outshopped in plain liveries. Class 56 No. 56041 in a ghostly white livery passes through Crewe with a Silverdale Colliery to Fiddlers Ferry power station loaded MGR coal train on 3rd October 1996.
