During the past few weekends, the line north of Yate has been closed due to engineering work, which has required diversions to take place via Lydney. One such diversion is 6E41, 10:13 Westerleigh-Lindsey O.R. The working is captured departing 'Yate Middle' with DB Schenker Class 60 No. 60079 at the helm. As the run-round loop at Yate is not long enough to accomodate the entire train, the working is top and tailed and is also required to enter the Tytherington single line for a short distance. Out of sight at the rear of the train, is sister Class 60 No. 60099 in the 'Tata' Steel livery. On departure from Yate the working will run to Severn Tunnel junction where 60079 will be detached and 60099 will work the train forward via Lydney and rejoin the its normal route at Gloucester on 29th September 2012.
