HN Rail Class 20s Nos 20311 and 20314 in their distinctive orange, black and yellow livery are at the leading end of working 7X09, 1142 Old Dalby to Amersham as the train, comprised of a seven car S-stock unit Nos 311 and 312 for London Underground, join the Derby to Birmingham main line at Branston Junction, Burton-on-Trent on 24th September 2012. Classmates Nos 20107 and 20096 are trailing at the rear of the train but out of view. This working was scheduled to depart from Branston Junction at 1809 following a three hour layover, however the train continued its journey to London some 30 minutes earlier than originally planned.
