LMS Jinty No. 47383 derailed while running round its train at Highley on the Severn Valley Railway on 14th May 1989. This happened during the diesel gala weekend and resulted in some trains being cancelled, bus substitution and some passengers having to detrain by ladder just outside the station. Seen here are the efforts to jack up the loco to enable rerailing.
