A Swindon three-car Cross Country unit stands at Falmouth Station on 9th July 1970 with the 1235 Falmouth to Truro service. Five months following this photograph this Cornish branch line was shortened by approximately half-a-mile and a replacement Falmouth station came into use and this structure became redundant.
