Class 47/0 No. 47297 is pictured at Wirksworth, Derbyshire on 17th April 1984 with working 6E28 Wirksworth to Purfleet. The rake of wagons had been loaded with Derbyshire stone from the nearby quarry and the train was preparing for the first leg of its journey south along the stretch of single track railway to Duffield where it would join the main line towards Derby.
