The East Coast 11:35 King's Cross to Leeds service worked by Class 91 No. 91103 was brought to a stand on the down fast line at Peterborough station on 11th July 2012. This was to allow The Royal Scotsman charter train to cross, ahead of it, from the Up slow line to platform 4 and the March line as it took its circuitous route from an overnight stop at the Nene Valley Railway to Cambridge via Grantham and Spalding on day 6 of the 8 day tour. Worked top and tailed by West Coast Class 47 No's. 47804 leading and 47854 shown at the rear.
