BR-built Class 03 0-6-0 diesel shunter No. D2180 is pictured hauling a train of non-paseenger carriages and vans along the Weymouth Quay branch in October 1969. As can be seen in the photograph, the former tramway is flanked by parked vehicles, which on many occasions caused problems for the passage of the trains. Sadly, it has been reported that this short line that linked the ferry terminal to the main line, will never withness the passage of another train.
