Barclay Fireless 0-4-0 No. 2 is seen on display at Snibston Discovery Museum, Leicestershire. Fireless locomotives removed the risk of sparks and fires and many small industrial locos were of this type. The principal was to charge the 'boiler' with steam from an external supply before commencing work. No.2 worked at Leicester Electricity Works, Aylestone Road.
