The recent add-on order of 3 Class 378 units are undergoing mileage accumulation runs between Crewe and Stafford / Rugby with unit No. 378214 based at Crewe as support trainset.
On October 19 No. 378214 was coupled to 378256 as they passed Sytch Lane on one of the northbound accumulation runs.
