Once used as an onion store, on a farm in Ramsey, Wisbech and Upwell Composite Tramcar No. 7 has undergone an absolute transformation to bring it up to its present condition. Seen here in the carriage sheds at Weybourne, Tramcar No 7 carries a copy of the bar that was used in its sister tramcar No 8, when it was famously used in the 1953 film ‘Titfield Thunderbolt’. Built in 1884, it worked the rural Fenland tramway until 1927, when line closure saw it move on to the Kelvedon and Tollesbury branch in Essex, until 1951.
