LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 45305 stands at Holt, after a positioning move, at the beginning of the third day of the North Norfolk Railway’s Steam Gala, on 4th September 2011. Built in 1936 by Armstrong Whitworth of Newcastle, the locomotive spent most of its life working in the northwest, until disposal in 1968. The locomotive is named ‘Alderman A. E. Draper’ after the man who rescued it from scrap.
