Pannier Tank 0-6-0 No. 7714 was built by Kerr Stuart & Co Ltd., to a CB Collett design, at a cost of £3160. Entering service at Tyseley in Birmingham in 1930, the locomotive was withdrawn by British Rail in 1959, after having run an estimated 520,259 miles. Then utilised by the National Coal Board, at Penallta Colliery, the locomotive was acquired by the Severn Valley Railway in 1973. Seen here at the Highley Engine House on 19th June 2010.
