GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe approaches Solihull with the empty stock for a charter from Solihull-Slough on Friday 16th April. This one way charter was a positioning move in order to get the locomotive to London to haul the next days Bristolian,which was to feature non stop running between Paddington and Bristol.
