Because of subsidence on the former Midland Main Line in the early eighties NE-SW services were diverted onto the Knottingley and Swinton Joint Line between Burton Salmon Jct and Wath. Here No. 43180 and 43181 head north through Ackworth cutting on the evening of April 13th 1983.
