An overall view of Darnall steam Depot (41A) in July 1965. The Depot was situated on the former GC line, south of Sheffield Victoria station. Although devoid of steam traction at this time, the coaling tower still remains, and was home to a number of early diesel locomotives which on this day included Brush type 2's nos. No. D5684 and D5541.
