10th December 2024 saw another movement of stock to Long Marston. On this occasion, Class 37/9 No. 37901 Mirrlees Pioneer passes Shipton with barrier vehicles plus Class 458 No. 458531. On the rear is Class 37/5 No. 37510 Orion. The top-and-tail formation was necessary as the train reversed at Basingstoke rather than running via Slough and Swindon; limited pathways were available due to diversions while the Berks and Hants line was closed for engineering work.
