A view captured of Healey Mills Yard where work has begun in earnest to create new sidings which are to be used by LNER for overnight stabling of their fleet during the temporary closure of Neville Hill Depot which is being re designed in connection with the Trans Pennine Upgrade and electrification. Meanwhile, the penultimate working of the empty bitumen tanks from Ribble Rail Preston to Haverton is pictured on 1st November 2024, behind Colas Class 56 No. 56105, as it resides in the loop awaiting a path forward, perhaps due to late running and the present diversion of TPE services.
